INTERNET CONNECTEDNESS

The internet: is it going to turn us all into disconnected drones, or is it the perfect place to connect with folk you are never likely to meet otherwise?  For me, the jury is still out.  At the moment I'm giving it my best shot, but one day I way well just pull the plug and go hippie/ troglodyte.  Until then, though, here are some places where you can "virtually" connect with me.

My favourite place at the moment is Facebook where I have numerous pages.  First there is my regular Facebook then there is my Facebook Page which is strictly for announcements about my various creative projects.  I also have a Facebook pages for The Book Of Hopes And Dreams and The Melted Rubber Humans

I have set up pages with quite a number of networking sites and have pages at Tumblr, LinkedIn, Friend Feed, Bebo, Plaxo, Multiply and various others.  I also operate a blog at Blogger

I'm not a huge fan of MySpace for networking because it is clunky, takes ages to load and for me, doesn't have a very user-friendly navigation system.  However, they do provide a good platform for musicians, so I use them to host my music.  If you are the adventurous type, you can hear my more twisted, apocalyptic, experimental electronica at www.myspace.com/captainmelted, but if your more of a mind to skin up a big one, chill and drift downstream you will probably prefer my more ambient sounds which are at www.myspace.com/sunshinesoundz.  As well as having my music on MySpace, I also have it posted on Bebo, GarageBand, ReverbNation, Stereofame, Last FM & VIRB

There are various Art Networks that I am involved with: Art Review, Artists Portfolio, I Draw & Paint, Mosaic Globe, My Gallery, Voodoo Chilli & Paintings I Love

I've also set up various Writers Pages at Poetry Cafe, Published Authors, Writers Network & The Poetry Showcase
